Trainee CNC Operator (Wire EDM Operator)

Full Time, Permanent.

Pucklechurch, Bristol.

Monday to Thursday 2:00PM- 10:30PM & Friday 11:30AM- 5:30PM (Afternoon shift)

£33,000 - £38,000 + Pension + Holiday + Training/Development Opportunities + overtime opportunities

They manufacture a range of mechanically led products using modern manufacturing technology, making for lighter, more efficient and user friendly products.

Due to further expansion of the team, we are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate coming into the business will be trained to operate the Wire EDM machine along with other CNC based equipment.

The Person:

Ideally, we are looking for someone with 3 or more years experience setting and operating machinery and working within a production environment. Any exposure to CNC machinery is beneficial but by no means essential as full training can be given.

The Role:

Reporting in to the production manager and working alongside a variety of other technicians, including; CNC operators, assembly & test technicians, manufacturing/production engineers, the main objective of your role will be to set, operate and ensure the efficiency of the wire EDM machine. You will receive full in house training on the machinery and there will be further opportunities to progress and develop your career with the business. Candidates should be aware that you will be required to work the afternoon shift, with an early finish on a Friday!
