Our client is a leading telecommunications provider expanding their managed services, and they’re looking for a Trainee Telecommunications Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Preston.

The Trainee Business Development Manager Role:

As the Trainee Business Development Manager, you will work closely with an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand the client base and revenue. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Business Development Manager:

• Supporting the Business Development Manager with sales strategies and meeting targets.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell managed services.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Staying informed about the latest industry trends.
• Contacting existing customers to resolve queries and discuss new products and services.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• At least 2 years of experience working in the telecommunications or Managed Service Provider (MSP) sectors.
• An understanding of MSP products like managed IT services and cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
