Overview:

A well-established hedge fund is seeking a Trade Support/ Trading Asssitant professional to join its growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in trade support and middle office operations, looking to work in a fast-paced, multi-asset environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
• Perform trade bookings, reconciliations, and support daily P&L and settlement processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams (trading, risk, fund accounting) and external parties (brokers, custodians) to ensure timely and accurate trade execution.
• Monitor and process corporate actions, including both mandatory and voluntary events.
• Utilise third-party platforms and internal systems to track and resolve trade discrepancies.
• Identify and address operational inefficiencies, contributing to process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate records and support audit and compliance requirements.

Candidate Profile:

• Relevant experience in trade operations or middle office roles within financial services.
• Strong understanding of global financial instruments and trade workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with platforms such as Bloomberg, Geneva, or OSTTRA is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
