Trade Operations Analyst - Huxley : Job Details

- ensuring seamless post-trade processing, efficient cash management, and operational excellence across our fund platform. You'll be at the intersection of technology, finance, and innovation, helping Nickel maintain its industry-leading standards and scale new heights as we grow.

What you'll do:

• Fund Operations & NAV Oversight: Calculate monthly NAVs, reconciling positions and cash balances across exchanges, brokers, and fund administrators. Ensure internal records align with third-party data-accuracy is key.
• Exchange Integration & Data Management: Create and manage exchange sub-accounts and API key integrations. Support onboarding of new exchanges, entities, and digital asset platforms.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Coordinate cash movements, fund POD managers, manage invoices, and monitor fund flows. Play a critical role in treasury oversight across funds.
• Reporting & Systems Optimisation: Leverage our Portfolio Management System (PMS) to produce exposure, NAV, and risk reports. Continuously enhance system integrations and drive process automation initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key contact for fund administrators, custodians, data providers, and internal teams.
• Project Work & Process Improvement: Lead ad hoc automation and efficiency projects - your innovation is welcome. Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer on cross-functional initiatives including compliance, fund accounting, and risk.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and thrive under pressure
• Solid Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, basic Macros/VBA)
• Prior experience or strong interest in digital assets/crypto markets
• Bonus points for coding experience (Python, SQL, R) and/ or willingness to learn

Ideally you will come from a fund admin, operations, or a back/middle office background - but crucially we are interested in team players who are smart, detail oriented and comfortable with technology.
