Town Planner - Renewable EnergyLocation: Dublin or Galway

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be representing a respected and growing consultancy in their search for a Town Planner with a passion for renewable energy development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure projects, with a strong pipeline of wind, solar, and other clean energy developments across Ireland.

As a Town Planner - Renewable Energy, you will:

• Lead and assist in the preparation, submission, and management of renewable energy planning applications.

• Undertake site selection studies, planning appraisals, and policy analysis.

• Coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes where required.

• Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities to secure project approvals.

• Work collaboratively with technical specialists, engineers, and environmental consultants.

We are seeking a planning professional who has:

• A degree or master's in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, or a related discipline.

• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure planning.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent project management capabilities and attention to detail.

• A full driving licence for site visits.
