Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a boutique, independent planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their growing London office.

This consultancy is renowned for delivering commercially astute and creatively tailored planning advice. They lead projects from pre-purchase feasibility and due diligence through to planning submission, negotiation, and satisfaction of planning conditions.

In this Town Planner role, you will:

• Support planning applications, appeals, and enforcement casework

• Conduct due diligence, site searches, and development appraisals

• Manage planning audits, development strategies, and risk assessments

• Prepare planning statements, LDCs, and represent clients in policy consultations

• Work alongside a small but highly experienced multidisciplinary team, focused on added-value outcomes

We're looking for someone with:

• A degree in Town Planning or related discipline, preferably RTPI-accredited

• Experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning roles

• Strong report-writing and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines

• A commercially minded, proactive approach to delivering planning solutions
