About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our clients team as a Town Centre Operative. This is a key role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the town centre and surrounding green spaces. The successful candidate will be working outdoors, supporting the local market setup, and ensuring public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Emptying litter bins and litter picking across public areas
• Sweeping hard surfaces and removing weeds from kerbs and street furniture
• Reporting hazardous items in line with safety procedures
• Keeping accurate records of cleaning activities and identifying problem areas
• Assisting with the setup and takedown of gazebos, tables, and chairs for market days

• Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work and walking
• Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays
• A full driving licence is desirable but not essential
