At Guidant Global, we're proud to partner with a leading manufacturing business in Broughton, supporting their wing box assembly plant. We're looking for a proactive, collaborative professional to join the team and help keep production running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Maintain and Improve Tooling:

• Reactively maintain tooling to ensure production stays on track.
• Proactively service critical path tooling and key jig features, following set schedules to support the build cycle.

Precision Measurement & Metrology:

• Work closely with the Metrology team, using Laser Trackers and CMM instruments to check and certify a variety of tooling across the Broughton Plant.
• Support measurements for aircraft concession data and acceptance checks.
• Metrology experience is essential for this role, as you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and certification of tooling using advanced measurement equipment.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and following documentation to ensure the highest standards are met.

What We're Looking For

• Completed a toolmaking, fitter machinist, or machining apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or above).
• At least 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
• Confident using tool room machines (lathes, millers, grinding machines, jig borers).
• Hands-on experience with metrology equipment, including Laser Trackers and CMM instruments, is required.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality.
