• Repair, create, and modify press tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Set up and operate a range of machinery such as milling, turning, and grinding machines.
• Read and understand the requirements on the Job Card for the operation to be carried out.
• Liaise with manufacturing engineers and other departments where necessary.

ToolmakerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience creating, repairing, or modifying tooling for manufacturing purposes (ideally press tooling)
• Well-versed working within a high-precision industry, such as aerospace, automotive, nuclear, marine etc
• Confident operating a range of machinery used to create, repair, or modify tooling (milling, turning, or grinding machines for example)
