Test Engineer - Wareham/Dorset - £30,000-£40,000 - Bond Williams : Job Details

Software Test Engineer (Python) is required for an award winning and established Cyber Security Business near Wareham, Dorset.

As a Test Engineer your role will include creating/using traffic generator simulators and/or real network traffic to test the products that are released.

You will be required to run tests to gather relevant information about how the product performs and use the test data to determine if there are issues that need to be addressed prior to end-user access

Junior - Mid Level experience essential in Software Testing in Python.

Main duties;

• Use programming languages such as python and bash to create test tools and automate tasks.
• Building and executing reusable test scripts and perform targeted exploratory testing.
• Perform FAT, SAT and UAT cycles
• Work on projects to ensure delivery of detailed and complete test cycles, internally and externally.

Experience required:

• Mid level experience in a test environment
• Python experience essential
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a car
• Hands on experience of all types of functional and non-functional testing
• Eligibility for Security clearance essential

Salary & Benefits:

£30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience

Monday - Friday on site - Flexible hours 8am - 6pm
