Test Automation Engineer Contract - Real Staffing : Job Details

A global medical device company are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. You'll be joining the R&D team to help lead write scripts to automate tests for a highly regulated medical device which currently being done manually. You'll help lead the team to design, implement and maintain automated test frameworks. For this role you will also need C# scripting experience and have done similar work in medical device, aerospace or automotive industries. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will need to be able to collaborate with other engineers to ensure project deliverables are met.

• Minimum of 6 year's experience
• Test Automation/Software background writing scripts in C#
• Experienced in design, planning, and implementation
• Strong understanding of software development and hardware systems (electronics/mechanical)
• Medical device or other regulated industry experience i.e Aerospace/Automotive
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Familiar with Test Automation Frameworks and Agile methodologies (SDLC/STLC)

The start date is for ASAP. The initial contract length is for 6 months, with the potential options to extended or go permanent after the initial period. The role is based in Limerick and will require a minimum of 3 days on-site per week. The rate is €50-65 per hour, depending on experience, if you have any expenses please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
