Test Analyst - James Frank Associates : Job Details

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Test Analyst to join their team.

Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking for a Test Analyst to join their Operations team, where you will work as part of the team and wider department do assist in delivering user acceptance testing, playing a key role in ensuring the financial systems, applications and processes meet business requirements.

This is the ideal role for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally with an understanding of Mortgages / Lending, who either has testing experience or is looking to transfer their career into this field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for User Acceptance Testing, reviewing and implementing new processes to streamline work and systems within the business
• Engage and build relationships with colleagues and departments across the wider business
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the business
• Update and distribute test data, including progress reports, updates and stats
• Create and maintain test scripts, plans, scenarios and reports

Key Experience:

• Previous experience in a Financial Services organization, either lending, banking or similar
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention o detail at all times
• Strong communicator, confident liaising with colleagues across the business of all levels
• Proficient in MS tools, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent attitude, keen to learn and progress in this field
• Knowledge of Agile / Waterfall methodologies would be advantageous, although not essential
