We're hiring: Terrorism Delegated Authority Underwriter - London-based

An exciting opportunity to join a leading insurer as a Terrorism Delegated Authority Underwriter. This role offers exposure to a specialised portfolio, broker engagement, and underwriting autonomy.

They offer hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong broker relationships

• Manage and develop a UK Terrorism DUA portfolio, including slips, wordings, referrals, and aggregates

• Assess and underwrite risks within authority limits

• Review submissions, conduct risk analysis, and ensure accurate documentation

• Handle premium monitoring, endorsements, and contract finalisation

What We're Looking For:

• Solid underwriting knowledge, especially in delegated authority

• PV, War & Terrorism or Commercial Combined experience

• Confident communicator and relationship builder

• Strong analytical and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
