Sheffield City Council are looking for a dedicated Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining effective tenancy management and supporting the community through various administrative, financial, and policy-related tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external agencies, facilitating the sharing of sensitive information.
- Ensure the accurate collation and analysis of data to provide performance reports and inform policy decisions and interventions, including quality monitoring across the service.
- Maintain links with service partners and local communities to ensure that data are shared and used to inform plans and strategies.
- Provide practical guidance and support in the development of strategies and delivery plans, including reviewing existing policy contexts, providing evidence and policy options appraisals, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Assist with policy/procedure, system development, and training for ASB and Tenancy Management functions.
- Input, maintain, locate, and retrieve sensitive data using both computerised and manual systems.
- Produce high-quality documents using a range of IT applications and maintain up-to-date administrative records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures for the storage and transmission of sensitive data.
- Provide an efficient and effective advice service to internal and external customers, including information related to risk assessments.
- Prioritise and organise your own workload to ensure service delivery priorities are met.
- Maintain strong, positive working relationships and provide assistance to internal teams and external partner agencies including the Police, Probation, and the Prison Service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information and data with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in a range of IT applications for data analysis and document production.
- Experience in policy development, system training, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet the objectives of the service.
