Temporary Legal Secretary - Ryder Reid Legal Ltd : Job Details

Ryder Reid are proud to be partnering with a long-established, full-service law firm headquartered in Holborn, London. With its reputation for excellence in their work, the firm is known for its high standards, collaborative ethos, and commitment to professional development.

The firm is now seeking a temporary experienced Legal Secretary with either Insurance or Commercial Litigation experience supporting 2 partners.

What does this role offer:

• Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
• City of London location - Holborn
• Competitive salary up to £50,000
• Supportive and professional team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-level PA and legal secretarial support across the Corporate team
• Drafting and amending legal documents
• Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
• File management including opening and closing
• Entering fee earner time
• Client onboarding and liaison
• General administrative support and ad hoc tasks

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 years of continuous legal secretarial experience in a City law firm
• Insurance / Commercial Litigation law experience is essential
• Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and document management systems
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Professional, reliable, and highly organised
• A proactive team player with a mature and confident approach
