Immediately-available Student Induction Officer role to start Thursday 4th September. This is a temporary role which will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new students joining the organisation. This temporary position is based in Bristol City Centre.

Description

• Coordinate and oversee induction events for new students, ensuring all activities run smoothly.
• Provide administrative support for induction-related materials, including preparation and distribution of documents.
• Act as a first point of contact for student queries during the induction period.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure timely delivery of induction programmes.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and feedback.
• Assist in setting up venues and technology required for induction sessions.
• Communicate important information to students clearly and effectively.
• Support the team in improving and innovating induction processes.

Profile

A successful Student Induction Officer should have:

• Experience in administrative or secretarial roles, preferably in the education or not-for-profit sector.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of approximately £12.60 to £15.40, depending on experience.
