Join our dynamic Temp Payroll team in Northampton as a Temp Production Administrator. This role is crucial for processing payments to temporary employees on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations in collaboration with the Finance and IT teams.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Run all weekly payrolls in a structured and organised manner.
- Check and reconcile daily payroll run and produce associated spreadsheets.
- Update and maintain Payroll Schedules and Payroll Procedures Manual.
- Handle queries and escalations from both within and external to the company, ensuring responses are within SLA agreements.
- Produce ad-hoc reports as required.
- Maintain the highest level of payroll security and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as needed within the scope of your role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
- Experience in a Payroll position.
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and databases.
- Experience in administration in a process-driven environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication and numeracy skills, with a focus on detail.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills, resilience in handling difficult queries, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A strong desire to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
