Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000

Benefits: NEST pension, 22 days annual leave

Schedule: 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 14:30 Friday The role of the Tekla Draughtsperson - Structural Steel will involve:

• Tekla Draughtsperson position dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades
• Producing general arrangement drawings (GA’s) and 3D models from Engineer’s designs

• Liaising with clients, Contractors, Architects and Engineers in order to obtain any required information
• Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings
• Work closely with Production Team and Design Engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication
• Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £2m

The ideal applicant will be Tekla Draughtsperson - Structural Steel with:

• Must have Tekla design / detailing experience
• Experience dealing with steelwork, metalwork, balconies, architectural metal, staircases, balustrades, handrails etc would be advantageous
• Must be capable of liaising with internal departments and customers
• IT literate (Microsoft office)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
