Technician - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYour new company is a fully accredited independent, well-respected Lloyd's broker in the City of London going from strength to strength. They are an independently, employee-owned specialist broking house with staff who are experts in Direct, Reinsurance and Wholesale business which makes this broking house an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within the technical team, a new permanent position for a Business Operations Technician has arisen.

Your new roleYour new job as a Business Operations Technician means you will be undertaking all back-end technical duties. You will be responsible for checking of all technical documentation including MRC slips and Endorsements for processing passed by the Brokers. Producing various different documentation such as; Debit/Credit notes, premium closings, EOC Covering Emails, Letters of Undertaking for the Marine and Non Marine Department as well as LPANS for submission to exchanging for Marine and Property, Casualty and Specialty risks.

You will also be processing risk premiums for Non-EU risks and an EU risks. Within the role you will have the opportunity to undertake resolving any queries raised by Xchanging (Lloyd's, ILU and Lirma) and underwriters in respect of premiums.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Technician either working at Xchanging or within a back-end technical role in a Lloyd's broker will contribute to your success You will be proficient in using MS Office software. You have excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs.
