Technical Support Engineer (2nd/3rd Line)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to clients via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Take ownership of support queries through to resolution, escalating only when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, both remotely and on-site.
• Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, documentation, and communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure service excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 1 year of 2nd line experience, ideally within an MSP environment.
• Strong technical understanding of:

o Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, O365)

o Virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V, VMware)

o Remote desktop services (RDS, Citrix)

o Networking (firewalls, switches, VPNs)

o Backup technologies (Veeam, offsite solutions)

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation and time management, with keen attention to detail.
• A curious mindset and passion for learning new technologies.
• Willingness to support occasional (paid) out-of-hours work.
