This is a hybrid role offering a high degree of flexibility. You will spend approximately 3 to 4 days per week meeting with customers in the field, with occasional visits to the office as required for team collaboration and internal meetings – Office is based near Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. This position covers the South of England and Midlands, so a willingness to travel within this region is essential. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across relevant industries and sectors
- Provide technical advice, product demonstrations, and solution-based sales support
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to design and deliver bespoke solutions
- Prepare and present accurate and compelling commercial proposals
- Keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, and competitor activity
The skills and experience required are:
- Previous experience in technical sales or an engineering-related sales role
- Solid understanding of power transmission components or related mechanical/industrial technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with strong initiative and a problem-solving approach
- Proven track record of building client relationships and achieving sales targets
