We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team, a specialist in Radiation Monitoring systems. As the UK’s leading supplier of dosimetry systems, we cater to Hospitals, industrial, nuclear, and research facilities. The Sales Engineer will be instrumental in promoting and selling our products and services to both new and existing customers, managing the full sales cycle from technical demonstrations to after-sales support.

Day-to-day of the role:Drive sales and revenue to support the company’s continued growth.Manage existing client relationships while delivering new business.Build and maintain strong customer relationships proactively.Spend 3 days a week on the road for customer visits and product demonstrations.Manage customer expectations throughout the pre and post-sales process.Utilise CRM on a daily basis for sales tracking and customer management.Learn and understand the technology used in our products.Work closely with internal teams and partners to ensure the execution of company objectives at the highest level.Handle technical support enquiries.Represent the company as an ambassador.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales.Knowledge of radiological or scientific instrumentation is desirable.Strong interpersonal skills with good business acumen.Effective written and verbal communication skills with a problem-solving approach.Comfortable working within a small team environment.Ability to build long-term business relationships.Excellent telephone and listening skills.Degree in Physics or a similar scientific discipline is preferable but not essential.Sharp negotiation and time-management skills.A confident understanding of the sales process.
