Job Title: Technical Paraplanner

Location: North Somerset

Hours: 35.5 hours per week (Mon 8:30–5, Tue–Fri 9–5)

This well-established, independent financial planning and wealth management firm in North Somerset has been providing tailored financial solutions since the mid-1990s. Known for its experienced team and commitment to client service, the firm prides itself on helping clients achieve their financial goals with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting advisors with client enquiries and day-to-day liaison
• Preparing bespoke, compliant suitability reports tailored to client needs
• Completing quarterly portfolio analyses and six-monthly investment review reports
• Assisting with annual review packs and writing review letters including recommendations
• Conducting technical research on products and platforms to support the firm’s panel decisions
• Collaborating closely with advisors and administrators to ensure excellent client outcomes
• Contributing to process improvements based on internal feedback

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Financial Planning (CII preferred)
• Working towards or willing to work towards Chartered Paraplanner status
• Minimum 3 years paraplanning experience or 5 years in a similar administrative role
• Degree preferred but not essential
• 120 UCAS points (A-Level BBB or equivalent)
