E.ON UK Network Assets Limited is a new business that will operate as a licensed Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO), regulated by OFGEM and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Technical Strategy: Develop and maintain technical processes for asset adoption and network operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Shaping Network Standards: Define and oversee design standards, specifications, and construction processes for safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Driving Excellence in Network Design: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure standards of performance are met.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate seamless network integration and design approvals
  • Industry Representation: Engage in relevant industry forums to shape the future of IDNOs and energy distribution.

What we need from you

  • Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification with relevant experience).
  • Experience in power network design across 11kV to 132kV networks.
  • Strong understanding of technical and regulatory standards for network design, construction, and operation.
  • Experience in network modelling and design software (e.g., WinDEBUT, VisNet Design, IPSA, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Knowledge of health & safety laws applicable to the electricity distribution sector.
  • Ability to engage with ICPs, DNOs, and developers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be confident in a client facing role.

It would be great if you have

  • Chartered Engineer status.
