Technical Officer - Morgan Hunt Recruitment : Job Details

I am currently recruiting for a Technical Officer for a contract running until March 2026. The role will primarily be to deal with Asbestos within the properties and to give technical, specialist advice on asbestos related issues and to provide effective solutions.

The main duties of the role will be:

• To monitor the surveys of premises to identify Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs)
• To provide advice when undertaking emergency safety work during surveys.
• To undertake appropriate risk assessment whenever asbestos is suspected of being present
• To provide specifications for the treatment, encapsulation or removal of ACMs as appropriate.
• To maintain and manage asbestos registers and utilise work management system.
• Manage ACM Permits to Work
• Manage specialist asbestos contractors including, contract management, oversight-of-works, specifications and commissioning of works

To be considered for this role previous working experience with Asbestos is essential.
