Technical Manager - Smart4Chemicals : Job Details

This is a great opportunity to join a family owned company as Technical Manager. The Technical Manager role involves playing a key role in the development of new garden retail products and overseeing all technical UK and EU regulatory compliance across they company's complete product portfolio including Plant Health & Protection, Biocides and Pesticides.?

What are the responsibilities?

• Product formulation - leading the innovation and development of new products
• Assessing the feasibility of new products and liaising with raw material suppliers
• Overseeing product trials
• Create and develop commercial opportunities across the product range
• Experience of managing the registration/renewal processes for plant protection (PPP) and biocidal products and ensure all products comply with PPP, Biocides, CLP and Fertiliser Regulations

Who are they looking for?

• BSc Chemisty, Environmental science or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience within Formulation or Regulations of Horticultural products
• Knowledge of PPP, Biocides and Fertiliser regulations
