Client Technical Lead / IT Cloud Technical Consultant who has demonstrable technical skills and certifications in Microsoft Cloud Technologies with the ability to resolve complex issues is required for a rapidly growing IT Cloud Services Company based in Central London.

SALARY: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE) Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Client Technical Lead / IT Cloud Technical Consultantwho has demonstrable technical skills and certifications in Microsoft Cloud Technologies with the ability to resolve complex issues.

Working as the Client Technical Lead / IT Cloud Technical Consultant you will be the clients’ go-to person when they need to discuss high-level IT. You’ll have a thorough understanding of your client’s business needs and technical setup, enabling you to provide your clients with the answers they need.

As the Client Technical Lead / IT Cloud Technical Consultant you will have the technical skills to resolve complex issues and provide recommendations and guidance to your clients on how the company can help them achieve more.

As the Client Technical Lead / IT Cloud Technical Consultant you will act as a bridge between the customer and internal teams, addressing technical challenges, facilitating seamless implementations, and fostering long-term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

The focus of the role is to provide consistent service, quality and innovation. Working in partnership with a customer relationship manager you will ensure the back office and field engineering teams have the appropriate knowledge to support the client and will be responsible for resolving technical issues outside of their remit.

Working closely with security and cloud consultancy teams you will guide clients to make improvements to their systems in line with best practice. This role will entail a mix of client site visits for meetings and ad-hoc technical work as well as time within the office. A minimum of 3 days in London (either at client sites or the office) are required.

This role focuses on the following key areas:

Client Onboarding & Documentation

  • Work alongside Cloud Consultants & Projects team, to Lead the technical onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth and timely implementation of products/services, collaborating with various internal teams

  • Develop and execute implementation plans, setting clear timelines and milestones

Client Documentation

  • Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles

Client Meetings & Roadmaps

  • Attend meetings as technical representative

  • Assist CRMs with creation and updating of IT roadmap and ongoing client conversations

Client Tech Offerings

  • Ensure clients are kept up to date and expectations are met on offerings and recommended solutions from Cloud Consulting and Security Teams, including oversight of products and project changes at clients

Client Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the primary contact for client technical IT queries outside standard Service Desk support

  • Collaborate with the support and engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems promptly

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Industry experience in a relevant role (Managed Service Provider role preferred)

  • Demonstrable technical skills and certifications in Microsoft cloud technologies

  • Articulate and professional with excellent interpersonal skills including expectation management

  • Customer service-orientation, with the desire to have dedicated clients’ needs centre to everything you do

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to generate client proposals and reports as well as to communicate/ simplify technical information in person, by email or over the phone

  • Ability to multi-task and adopt a proactive and organised approach, in order to exceed client expectations

  • A confident, positive, and upbeat demeanour with colleagues and contacts

  • Excellent organisational skills with close attention to detail

  • Competent in accurately maintaining CRM software with management information, billing data and client linked documentation (they use MS Dynamics and Power Apps)

  • Desire to work as part of a team, making a valuable contribution to the business
