Technical Investigator (OSINT Content Protection Music) London / WFH to £45k

Do you have a good understanding of OSINT combined with a naturally curious / investigative mindset?

As a Technical Investigator you will support the efforts to investigate and tackle infringements to client's rights.

Responsibilities will encompass:

• Investigating, testing and analysing technologies and digital services of all types
• Conducting OSINT investigations into threat actors, their modus operandi and the broader piracy network / ecosystem - including time-sensitive pre-release investigations
• Data analysis in relation to piracy, production of landscape reports and threat profiles
• Analysis of the technical infrastructure used to support services and applications including networks and DNS
• Evidence capture, to support disruptive and enforcement actions - prepare related materials including criminal referrals and witness statements and execute, coordinate and manage actions / cases
• Collaboration with the software engineering team, legal team and other global regional offices

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in Central London three days a week with flexibility to work from home for the other two.

Requirements:

• You're degree educated in a computing discipline and/or Music Technology

• You are naturally inquisitive and have online research skills and prior experience in conducting OSINT investigations in the private sector using modern tools
• You have a strong knowledge of networks and DNS and experience of probing and testing network requests using relevant tools (Wireshark, CharlesProxy etc.).
• You have a good knowledge of Celi Linux and SQL
• You're capable of producing clear and concise technical and functionality reports and investigative documents with meticulous attention to detail
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You're able to pass a CRB (Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau) check
