Technical Insights Business Partner- 6 Months- Burgess Hill/Hybrid- £55-£60 p/h

The Technical Insights Business Partner contributes to the success of the UK affiliate by identifying, developing and presenting key business insights used for critical and strategic decision making within the technical service department and the technical leadership team. The senior technical Insights BP will lead the business in improving processes, systems and services through data analysis in order to deliver the ambition of superior customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for developing own skills and contribute to the development of other members of the team
• Promotes the importance of evidence-based design or analysis.
• Define requirements for improving service(s), to reduce costs and quantify potential business benefits.
• Proactively identify risks to the business sustainability, coordinate and manage process resolution with key stakeholders
• Raise the need for issues to be investigated managing to completion when required in collaboration with other areas of the business
• Contribute toward the development of business analysis practice and standards.
• Share knowledge and experience with other business analysts and contribute to the wider Business Analyst community.
• Promote the building of good relationships with a broad range of people from a varied background (technical and non-technical), and applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure the team's plans and objectives are achieved.
• Takes ownership of situations as they arise or shared
• Implements and drives key initiatives, business decision in a positive, creative way to bring success

Skills/ Experience:

• Degree educated or equivalent ideally in statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or business related degree (E.g. Economics, Business Studies)
• Desirable - postgraduate qualification desired e.g. MSc, in business administration, industrial engineering
• Proven track record of operating in a highly changeable working environment - dealing with ambiguity and complex issues and concepts
• Experience working in a data driven environment
• Strong Project Management Experience/Knowledge of working in the delivery of technology-based projects
• Detailed understanding of data analytics processes with the ability to analyse data using multiple system/data modelling tools available such as Excel, VB, Access, Tableau, (T)SQL, Salesforce
• Experience working in report creation, modelling, and trend forecasting.
• Business Partnering experience required
