Technical Finance Manager - Absolute Recruit : Job Details

The role of Technical Finance Manager will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 2/3 years PQE working in industry. Ideally you would have qualified in Audit firm and currently working within a multi site organisation. This role will report into the Group FD and be responsible for financial reporting, tax and treasury functions across their several sites. You will also be responsible to manage a team of qualified accountants and provide support and guidance. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

• Responsible for Financial Reporting function.  
• Review and support in preparation of the year-end and audit processes.   
• Review and support in preparation where required accurate and timely reporting of management information to our external partners.  
• Oversight of the internal Capex process and project spend for the various projects across the Group.  
• Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with all key stakeholders, including the wider finance team.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Financial Reporting and support wider group goals and initiatives
• Responsibility for balance sheet control ensuring 100% compliance of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.  
• Keep abreast of UK accounting and taxation legislation enabling the group to remain fully compliant in respective areas.
