A global leader in Check & Detect inspection systems for food, pharmaceutical industries is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join their team in the role of a Technical Sales Support Engineer. You’ll work on highly bespoke customer orders, acting as the bridge between sales, engineering, and customers, shaping technically viable and commercially sound solutions.

Role Overview:

The Technical & Commercial Order Review Specialist plays a pivotal role in evaluating non-standard and highly bespoke customer orders and enquiries. This position requires a balanced approach—taking into account both the technical feasibility and commercial viability of each request.

Acting as a key interface between customers, sales teams, and engineering, the role holder will ensure that complex equipment solutions are accurately specified, effectively proposed, and successfully delivered. Their insights will help align customer requirements with organisational capabilities, enabling innovative yet achievable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate bespoke orders and enquiries for technical and commercial viability.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and strategic objectives.
• Liaise with engineering teams to assess technical feasibility, required resources, and potential risks.
• Balance commercial ambition with engineering capabilities, ensuring proposals are profitable and deliverable.
• Prepare detailed specifications and proposals for tailored technical solutions.
• Act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the proposal and delivery process.
• Support continuous improvement in the review process to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
