Technical Author (Aviation) - Cardiff - 6-12 month contract.Are you a skilled Technical Author with a passion for aviation? Our client, a reputable aviation company based in Cardiff, is seeking a Technical Author to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting work package creation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services to the shop floor.Key Responsibilities:Analyse technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverablesCollect, research, and analyse source data to develop technical user guidesCoordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and useful technical publicationsUtilize industry-leading software, including SAP, to create work cards and maintain aircraft libraries for B777 /B787 modification programme.Conduct quality reviews and validation of technical publicationsEmbrace and contribute to departmental and company improvement strategiesRequirements:Experience working within a Part 145 OrganisationAviation-related degree coupled with 2 years of working experience in the aviation sectorAircraft modification and repair exposure is desirableIf you are a detail-oriented Technical Author with a background in aviation and a drive for excellence, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading aviation company.To register your interest please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
