Technical Architect – Data

(Full time/perm) Remote with some travel

My client is seeking an experienced Technical Architect (Data) to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions across Azure and AWS. You will shape data ecosystems, align architecture with business strategy, and drive innovation through modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of end-to-end data architectures across hybrid cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Define process maps.
• Conduct evaluations and gap analyses, shaping future roadmaps.
• Develop scalable and secure integration solutions.
• Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder engagement.
• Design operating models, and data flows.
• Present strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering and delivery teams for implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data/Technical Architect in enterprise or government settings.
• Deep expertise in Azure and AWS data services.
• Strong background in integration, real-time streaming, and enterprise-scale data flows.
• Skilled in architectural documentation .
• Knowledge of data security principles in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Ability to define conceptual, logical, and physical architectures.
