Technical Accountant - Fixed Term 15 months- Full Time - Hybrid

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a trade union with a membership of over half a million nurses, midwives, nursing support workers and students, to appoint a Techncial Accountant for this 15 month contract opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

What the Technical Accountant will be doing:-

• Working closely with the D365 Systems Accountant and Finance Team Subject Matter Experts, ensure that the new Group Chart of Accounts and Financial Analysis are fit for purpose to deliver the Group Statutory Accounts and Quarterly VAT Returns under the partial exemption rules.
• Ensure system build complies with current Group reporting standards and will also adapt to upcoming changes to FRS 102.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure you are well briefed on the BAU requirements.
• Test design and compliance of set up and reporting functionality thoroughly. Provide a hand over document for each piece of design and report and provide a handover to BAU Subject matter expert for their final testing.

What the Technical Accountant will bring to the team:-

• Recognised CCAB accounting qualification
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulation.
• High level expertise in an accounting software packages
• Experience of preparing chariity accounts

Benefits:

• Annual leave up to 32 days plus bank holidays and three additional days for the Christmas break pro rata.
• £72,003 annual salary
• We offer a competitive pay structure with annual pay progression until you reach the top of the salary scale.
• Hybrid working.
