Team Leader - ( Nights) Location: Liphook, HampshireSalary : £19.00-20.50 per hourBenefits: 22 days holiday, company benefitsJob DescriptionSyntech Recruitment are currently recruiting for the new position for a reputable company that are a large manufacturing company. Main duty will be to assist the Production Supervisor in the delivery of a smoothefficient production capability in accordance with the plant policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities

• To assist the Production Supervisor in the delivery of a smooth efficient production capability in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• To investigate ways of improving productivity, flexibility including reduction of waste and rejects through coaching and training.
• Working with the Production Supervisor and staff reports ensure departmental KPI's are achieved and wherever possible exceeded. Responsible to meet production goals.
• To ensure all Health and Safety policies within the organisation are effectively applied.
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during the day to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspection (BS 6001-1:1999+A1:2011, ISO 2859-1:1999).
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) whilst observing Health and Safety requirements. Ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Manage and complete production paper work in line with Company policies and quality system requirements.
• Undertake Machine / Press setting responsibilities for your department
• Assist in production as is necessary including other duties as are assigned.
• Work closely with other departments implementing best practice "LEAN" techniques.
• Participate in business development, continuous improvement
• Be a team player cognisant of the business values and ethos.
