Team Manager - Corporate Travel - Remote

We are recruiting on behalf of a client who is a small but fast-growing name in Corporate Travel. They are looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead a talented group of around seven Business Travel Consultants. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused leadership position, ensuring both clients and team members receive the very best support. You will spend approximately 50% of your time managing the team and 50% booking corporate travel for a variety of clients - with every aspect of the role driven by a "service, service, service" ethos.

Team Manager - what will I be doing?

  • Leading and supporting a team of approximately seven Business Travel Consultants.
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
  • Holding regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and team meetings.
  • Coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Acting as an escalation point for client queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Spending approximately 50% of your time booking corporate travel for a variety of clients using Sabre GDS.
  • Ensuring clients' needs are met to the highest standard, with an unwavering focus on service.
  • Overseeing quality control and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Team Manager - what experience do I need?

  • Proven leadership experience within corporate travel, preferably managing a team of consultants.
  • Strong understanding of corporate travel operations and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency with Sabre GDS is essential.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team in a remote environment.
  • A problem-solving mindset and commitment to service excellence.

Team Manager - What else do I need to know?

You will be working fully remotely. The team culture is collaborative, friendly, and hardworking - they value professionalism but don't take themselves too seriously.

The role offers a very competitive salary plus a bi-annual bonus, with core hours Monday to Friday. There is the opportunity to cover the on call phone for further compensation on occasions. This is an exciting team to be part of - the company are incredibly ambitious.
