About the Role:
Are you a tech-savvy finance team-leader, looking for a new role within a friendly team? We are recruiting for a dynamic Team Manager to lead our client’s Finance Operations team within the Strategic Finance section of the organisation. This role focuses on Accounts Payable and SEN Finance, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service. You will manage a team, oversee financial processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Ensure robust validation processes are carried out to a high standard.
Develop and implement financial strategies to improve service quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Utilising excellent social and communication skills, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Manage complex financial queries and provide strategic advice.
Utilising strong leadership skills, ensure effective internal control over financial information, data quality, and performance.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ 2 or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration.
Substantial experience in supervisory roles and financial management systems.
Proven track record in managing change and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and experience in budget management.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication and IT skills with experience of working in a computer-based data/finance management environment (including development, testing and administration of systems).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Commitment to customer care and diversity.
Pro-active and driven.
Special Requirements:
Ability to travel within Leicestershire.
