Teaching Assistant | Wirral | Full-time, Long-term

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Wirral Secondary schools for Teaching Assistants to support Secondary pupils on a 1 to 1 and general basis.

You will be responsible for keeping students engaged and focused throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage progress.
• Assist with the care and supervision of pupils, promoting a safe and positive learning environment.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
• Help prepare resources, set up learning activities, and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playground duties and school events.

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
