Position description / Job description
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Prepare and organise learning resources and materials.
  • Supervise students during activities and breaks.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians.
  • Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.
Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • You possess an Enhanced DBS check on the updated service.
  • You have full eligibility to work in the UK.
  • You have a minimum of 6 months of UK work experience in an educational setting working with primary-aged children.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You possess patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • You have strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Relevant educational qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
