Teaching Assistant - Reeson Education : Job Details

We are excited to be recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our Year 4 team in a welcoming and supportive Warrington primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference in children's education.

As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across all subjects

• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant for children who require additional support

• Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation

• Encourage independence, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning

• Contribute as a valued Teaching Assistant to the wider school community

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and reliable Teaching Assistant who can:

• Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in the classroom

• Use initiative to support the class teacher and take on Teaching Assistant responsibilities confidently

• Understand safeguarding and put pupil wellbeing first

• Hold a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)

• A welcoming team where every Teaching Assistant is valued

• Ongoing training and professional development for our Teaching Assistant staff
