Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a primary school based in South Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their committed team. This will be on a supply based contract, with the possibility for long term contracts.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across the curriculum, both in class and through targeted interventions
• Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all pupils
• Support the emotional, social, and educational development of children
• Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities

• Has previous experience working with children (school or educational setting preferred)
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in childcare)
• Is a patient, positive, and proactive team player
• Has strong communication skills and a flexible, 'can-do' attitude
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service
• Two professional references
