We are seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. • Work alongside experienced teachers to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged.
• Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.
• Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, both one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and inspiring classroom setting.
• Help with lesson planning and the creation of creative classroom displays.
• Promote independence, confidence, and a love of learning among students.
• Collaborate effectively with staff, families, and external professionals to enhance pupil progress.

• Proven experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
• Confidence and skill in supporting children with SEN, such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to various classroom situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for working collaboratively with colleagues and families.
• A proactive attitude and a keen eagerness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
• A relevant qualification, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, is advantageous but not mandatory.
