Teaching Assistant - Horizon Teachers : Job Details

A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a school environment. You'll be working alongside experienced teachers to support students in and out of the classroomproviding tailored academic support, helping to manage behaviour, and ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
• Providing one-to-one and group support to students, including those with SEND or additional learning needs
• Assisting with classroom activities, lesson planning, and resource preparation
• Encouraging student engagement, participation, and independence
• Helping to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, tutoring, or similar)
• Is passionate about education and student development
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff alike
• Brings energy, patience, and a proactive mindset to the classroom
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
