Have you worked with children, young people, or adults with challenging behaviour, mental health needs, or additional support requirements? If so, your skills could be the perfect fit for a role in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) school.

We're recruiting two dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEMH school in Grantham, part of a highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust committed to inclusion and support. This school works with young people aged 5-16 who need a calm, consistent, and understanding environment to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with learning activities and emotional regulation strategies
• Building trust and rapport with students through positive relationship-building
• Using your experience to help manage behaviour and de-escalate situations calmly
• Providing structure and emotional support during the school day
• Supporting inclusion across classroom and outdoor learning sessions

Who We're Looking For:

• Essential: Experience working with challenging behaviour, trauma, or mental health - from education, social work, residential care, youth offending, or similar roles
• A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people
• A strong communicator and committed team player
• Someone open to learning and adapting within a school environment
