Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their education journey? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to join their team this September through Reed Education.

?? Role Overview: As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will work closely with KS1 and KS2 pupils in small groups, providing targeted support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally. Your role will involve:

• Supporting pupils with reading, writing, and classwork set by the teacher.
• Assisting children who require additional behavioural support.
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored support plans.
• Creating a positive, nurturing environment that encourages learning and growth.

? What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with KS1 or KS2 pupils.
• A background in youth mentoring, coaching, behavioural support, social care, or as a Behavioural Teaching Assistant.
• Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is desirable.
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Full UK right to work and a UK address.

• Contract: Full-time, term-time only
• Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
