Reeson Education is looking for a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the M12 area this September. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is based in EYFS, working with pupils in Nursery and Reception who are at a vital stage of early learning and development.

The school is a welcoming, child-centred setting with a strong focus on inclusivity and early intervention. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in play-based and structured learning sessions, contribute to phonics, communication, and early maths work, and provide vital support to those with speech and language needs, developmental delays, or other additional needs.

Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting EYFS pupils as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery and Reception
• Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions
• Helping children access the EYFS curriculum through creative, sensory, and play-based learning
• Assisting children with speech, language, and communication needs
• Supporting classroom routines, snack times, outdoor learning, and toileting as needed
• Using phonics and early reading strategies
• Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to track progress
• Creating a warm, nurturing learning environment as a Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:

• EYFS or KS1 experience in a school or nursery setting
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred, but strong candidates with relevant qualifications or experience will be considered
• A caring, patient, and hands-on approach
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early years milestones
• Confidence working with children with early developmental needs
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Full-time availability from September
