Long Term Futures are partnering with a friendly, community-focused secondary school in the NG10 area, recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted and known for its welcoming environment where every student is valued. The school has a strong focus on encouraging ambition, kindness and resilience in its students.

They're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team to support students with special educational needs, helping them build confidence, independence and a love of learning.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs
• Encouraging participation and focus in lessons across a range of subjects
• Supporting classroom activities, ensuring students feel included and engaged
• Assisting with behaviour management in a calm, proactive manner
• Collaborating closely with teachers, the SENDCO and a supportive staff team

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting young people with SEN in a school or similar setting
• A calm, patient, and encouraging approach to learning and behaviour
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
