We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a network of vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in the Newham area for a September 2025 start.

Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: Secondary Schools - NewhamStart Date: September 2025Contract: Full-time, term-time only (Mon-Fri)Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

• Provide classroom support to students aged 11-16, including those with additional learning needs (SEND/SEMH)

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons across a range of subjects

• Offer one-to-one or small group intervention to help students overcome learning barriers

• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Support with pastoral care and contribute to students' social and emotional development

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

• Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting (school, youth work, mentoring, etc.)

• Understanding of or interest in SEND/SEMH support

• Team-Teach training or a willingness to undertake behaviour management training (desirable)

• A proactive, patient, and resilient approach

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

• Supportive school communities focused on staff development and student wellbeing
