Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Support a Year 6 class as a Teaching Assistant, assisting with lessons and classroom activities.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils with literacy, numeracy, and test preparation.
• Assist pupils with engagement, behaviour management, and emotional regulation.
• Adapt learning materials to support different learning styles as a Teaching Assistant.
• Provide additional classroom support during SATs preparation.
• Collaborate with the teacher and SENCO as a Teaching Assistant to ensure all pupils thrive.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, classroom assistant, or working with children is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff as a Teaching Assistant.
• Commitment to a full-time, long-term role in a primary school setting.
