1 -1 SEN Teaching Assistant - to work with a Year 1 student

Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.15pm

Recruiting in partnership of a good primary school in the Rainham, Gillingham area of Medway for a nurturing teaching assistant who wants to make a difference to this Y1 child's learning to support 1-1.

Term Time only (with additional holiday pay)

To start Asap as EHCP is complete & funding has been agreed

• Do you have Experience and Knowledge of working with children with a wide range of abilities?
• Understand social and life skills development?
• Be able to have a variety of tools to communivate non-verbally as this child is pre-verbal and just started speaking a few words to develop this further
• To know phonics, bucket time, PECs and other Early years workings would be a great advantage
• Are you Calming, Nurturing and Patient to work constructively to manage triggers and behaviours effectively?
• To be an effective team player, also have the support from others around you
• Have a high level of professionalism and the ability to distinguish personal and professional boundaries.
• Be willing to assist with Personal Care if required.
• Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant/Care Qualification?
• Have (GCSE) Qualifications in English & Maths grade 4 or equivalent?
